Production reflection By Reon

Storyline:This is a story about Aoraki and his three brothers.Rangi Sky Father and Papa Earth Mother decided to send Aoraki and his three brothers to look at the new Earth.Aoraki sailed and sailed until the skies grew dark because of rain .Aoraki was flung onto one of the rocks. The wind did not calm down .All of the brothers scrambled onto the waka.Their bodies hardened up ,their hair turned white. Tu and his Mokopuna got worried .As they sailed the wind did not calm down Tu made a  windbreak. After that the land split and a deep gorge opened up. He planted Ducks eels and fish.Hinenuitepo the goddess of the night heard all the noise. Papa earth mother was not happy. She told tu to lift up the mountains. Rangi helped tu.Then the land became very beautiful .Tall mountains, trees  and  flowers were created .Papa was very happy. Hinenuitepo gave Tu a gift a Teanamu sandfly and that was how the South Island was made.

Miss Paton and Mrs Kelly helped with the props/Costumes there was lots of people involved today I saw some people painting props.Some of the props are made from cardboard,glitter,glue and paint.

mokopuna.

What role is room five taking in this production?

Southern Alps.

How are you making the props as a team or alone?

Sometimes alone but mostly as a team.  

are people making good progress or need to work on their lines

I think Patrick is going good with his lines.

Are actors using both their voices and bodies as expression

I think lavina is using expression when saying her lines

What needs to be improved?

people need to learn their lines.and use more actions

How to move from an OK performance to a Very Good Performance Move from being ZERO to HERO

* Talk slower - EVERYONE

* Look at the audience when we are speaking and acting out our parts

* Use more expression

* Don’t get distracted by the people behind- Cyprus, Thomas, Patrick, Linda, Fine, Angel, Jharda’e, Samantha, Oh S’mar, Jasmine, Jason

* Know the timing off by heart

* Talk louder - Fine, Angel,

* Be confident don’t be shy

* When you hear your cue- act on it.

* Look not laugh when someone makes a mistake

Don’t giggle when someone is acting

* Bodies facing audience, but also looking at the actor beside you - include your audience

* Don’t get distracted when you’re back stage

* Use some actions when you’re talking

* Get ready back stage

* Spread out those who are flowers, mountains, fish,

* Don’t let your class down

* Put lots of effort into the class performance

Yes because i'm proud of it.

2. What did you find easy when you created your painting?

The painting.

3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your painting? -think about painting, ruling up the grid, measuring, using the co-ordinates, etc.

The bit i found tricky was ruling up the grid.

4. Who / What helped you when you were painting?

Miss Patons instructions.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: colours, painting, ruling up, etc.

I would choose a different colour.

6. What frustrated you when you created your painting?

The thing that frustrated me was ruling the grid.
